So sorry! I haven't been online for a while, but yes, we do have a shelter for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence that need immediate assistance with no other options. The victim also has to live in Oakland County. I'm not sure that the two programs would be able to work together unless the teen has been assaulted.

I volunteer for a non-profit, Michigan Youth Leadership (MYLead) and we host an annual weekend-long leadership conference for high school sophomores. We do a community service/outread project every year, and I think there is some great opportunity for us to help out in some way with SUFK. To see youth helping other youth would be great, and I'm sure it is something that would truly benefit the youth on both ends. We are having a MYLead board meeting in a week and a half to start looking at ideas for the upcoming year. I'll definitely be in touch, and hopefully we can work something out!
